75th ANNUAL COMPETITIONS 2026

SPEECH & DRAMA: Syllabus for 2026
The Speech & Drama competition is on just one day, Saturday 26th September in the Methodist Church, Bank Street. The competition classes have been cut down from past years and will take up all of Saturday. 

DANCE
Dance Competitions will be held 26th – 30th September 2026 at the Te Awamutu College. Information, syllabus and programme may be accessed through Te Awamutu Competitions Society - Dance Section on Facebook. Email address is [email protected].

HIGHLAND DANCE
This section will be held on (to be advised). Come and listen to bagpipe music, watch the dancers' kilts swing, dancers executing steps over swords to beating and tripping in the Irish jig, and then the Sailors' Hornpipe deck steps.
